Construction Site Supervisor

As a Construction Site Supervisor, you will study fundamentals of building design, site development, building layout operations, collaborating with volunteers, site management, and practical residential construction practices. You will be instructing safe and proper use of hand tools, portable power tools, and stationary power equipment. In addition, you will have the opportunity to apply framing, interior finishing, and exterior finishing techniques at actual job sites. Related blueprint reading, estimating, building science principles, and OSHA practices are a major part of the job.

RePair Specialist

The Repair Specialist works directly with the Repair Supervisor and volunteers to rehabilitate homes in our community for Habitat for Humanity of the Greater La Crosse Region’s RePair Program. This program provides repairs on homes with a focus on emergency, accessibility, and aging-in-place repairs. This is an opportunity to get direct experience in all areas of the construction trade.

The Construction Specialist will be able to take away experiences in the residential construction field that would prepare them for a variety of careers in this field.
